Sources for the construction of a web site — StyleThe look and feel of the site will reflect the style that the school has already adopted in the image it presents to the world. Much of this will be evident in the documents listed below. Some style components such as typefaces, background and foreground colours may be easily specified. Have a look at other existing school sites to get some ideas of what you do and don't like. Let us know what you'd like your site to look like. Sources for the construction of a web site — ContentA good starting point for the content of a web site may be easily obtained from documents that already exist. All of the documents listed below will have useful content, some may also exhibit the style that the school wishes to present on the world wide web. It will be most useful to supply these documents in electronic form, but paper copies for reference will also be useful. The following list is not exhaustive.
External LinksIt may be appropriate to include mentions of (or links to) other organisations with which the school is associated. For example : charities which the school supports, http://www.iipuk.co.uk/ , http://www.wiredforhealth.gov.uk/ , the LEA , organisations which sponsor the school , other schools in the area, etc. |
